Hard to imagine
In the hustling and bustling city centre like Sydney
There is such a big strip of green land nestling in there
This is the Royal Botanic Garden
The branches are intertwined.
Those trees must be quite old.
The carpet-like grass.
Wild birds. But gentle.
And rare to people like me, from the northern hemisphere.
A white parrot perching on the tree.
You think you are not allowed to step on the grass?
Yes, you are allowed.
You are very welcome to do so.
Domain is an old fashioned word, meaning a land owned by one person or a government.
The boy was rolling up and down on the grass for fun. He just found I was taking a photo of him.
Lying on the grass for sunbathing.
Big Tree.
How long does it take to grow that big?
Special purple-coloured trees.
Only found in Australia.
A small lake nestles in the garden.
The eggplant-like tree.
This is Mrs. Macquaries Chair, where you can have a perfect view of Sydney Opera House and Sydney Bridge.
